National Bagel Day for 2021 is today January 15th and Dempster’s is celebrating by releasing a new lineup of Signature Bagels in flavours – Four Cheese, Banana Chocolate Chip Flavour, Parmesan Garlic & Herb Flavour, Blueberry Flavour and Maple French Toast Flavour. Dempster’s adds that Canadians do have their own signature bagel flavour profile, and for most (79%), it’s a tossup between sweet, salty, classic and new age flavours like maple and banana.
Almost half (47%) of Canadians want to try more interesting bagel flavours, but can’t find them at the grocery store. In fact, 54% wish they didn’t have to go out to grab a specialty bagel! Almost half (45%) of Canadians look for unique flavours when choosing a bagel.
