Ossid reveals new thermoformer for all meat packaging

BATTLEFORD, North Carolina—Ossid, a product brand of ProMach, now offers its FP-420, a new middle-market thermoforming machine that cost effectively packages beef, chicken, pork, and seafood.

Packaging formats of the FP-420 thermoformer include vacuum skin pack, vacuum, and modified atmosphere (MAP), and packages at a rate between five to 10 cycles per minute.

The FP-420 conforms to the IP 65 washdown standard, and is easy to operate with fast changeover in less than 30 minutes. It also includes production reporting capabilities and the option for secure remote diagnostics.

FP-420 customers have the benefit of a single point of contact for printers, labelers, product feeders/loaders, fillers, pre-heat stations, prototyping services, and package development.
